THE CYPRUS NOC ANNOUNCES THE ACCEPTANCE OF TENDER
APPLICATIONS FOR THE DISTRIBUTION AND SALES OF TICKETS
FOR THE LONDON 2012 OLYMPIC GAMES
The Cyprus Olympic Committee (Cyprus NOC) is looking to appoint a Ticket Distributor for its ticketing programme for the London 2012 Olympic Games.
The Cyprus NOC is accepting proposals of interest from agencies able in undertaking this process.
The terms and conditions of this bidding tender are binding and according to the Rules and Regulations of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the London 2012 Organizing Committee (LOCOG) and none of these conditions and terms can be violated or breached.
BASIC TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The chosen agency should proceed under the terms and conditions of the “Ticket Sales Agreement” for the 2012 Olympic Games that has been issued from LOCOG and has to be signed by all three parties involved, the LOCOG, the Cyprus NOC and the Authorised Ticket Reseller (ATR), Ticket Distributor. The Ticket Sales Agreement is herewith attached and is an integral part of this tender.
The major factors for deciding which agency will be chosen to become the ATR for the Cyprus NOC are:
a) The benefits that will be offered to the Cyprus NOC by the ATR bidding for the handling of the Olympic Ticket sales and distribution.
b) The information that the ATR bidding will provide the Cyprus NOC according to the information required in Exhibit D of the “Ticket Sales Agreement”.
TENDER PROPOSALS
For a tender to be valid and to be considered it should be delivered in a sealed envelope with the title “TENDER FOR THE DISTRIBUTION AND SALES OF TICKETS FOR THE OLYMPIC GAMES LONDON 2012”. The title should be on the envelope as well as on the tender itself. The tender should reach the offices of the Cyprus Olympic Committee on the 2nd floor of the Olympic House, 21 Amfipoleos St., 2025 Strovolos, Nicosia, Cyprus, no later than Friday November 5th, 2010.
